Another day in Paradise????

Well, the weather man yesterday was just a little off when he said that we would be getting a few flurries, with maybe a centimeter or so of the white stuff sticking around.   And to make matters even more fun, today's forecast is for just a few more flurries - HA, HA on us!!!  Here's a photo taken about half an hour ago, of my deck that did not have any snow on it  (especially after yesterday's high of 6C ), and the constant flurry that has not abated all day.  The high for today is a cool -14C!!!

Well that makes my card for today just perfect - this is my first project as part of the design team for Eat Cake Graphics.  If you haven't been to the online store yet, you should jump on over and check out the adorable images that are available by clicking here.

The images I have used today are Sledding - Sarah pulls Nicky and Otto and Snowballs - Stocked and Ready.  Both images have been colored with Copics, then fussy cut and popped up on dp from We R Memory Keepers Winter Frost collection.  The trees are a die from Dee's Distinctively line, and for added depth I have added lots of snow created with liquid applique.

  4. WOW!! I think your weather man was a TAD OFF! I always tell my hubby that I would love to get paid as much as the weather man does to lie - LOL! That is how they predict the weather in Iowa too :) Flurries = Blizzard or at least 6" of snow... Warm & Sunny = Wear a Parka - LOL! What an awesome card and your right...it does fit PERFECT with your weather! How exciting that you are designing for Eat Cake Graphics - I LOVE their stamps :)
