Cowy Wishes

February has arrived with snow, snow, and more snow or at least it seems to be that way.  Maybe it's because this is the first winter spent in the Kooteney's of British Columbia, and I don't remember this much snow in Alberta ever!!  Lots of snow means lots of crafting time and it's the first day of a new month, so it's time to showcase a card designed for One Crazy Stamper.  This month the design team will be showcasing some of the older High Hopes rubber stamps that we love!

My card this month features the adorable "American Cowthic" available to purchase here.  I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto Copic Xpress It cardstock, and then colored the image with Copics.  I added depth and highlights with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol, then masked the image so that I could use distress inks to make the background.  The wood frame and sign for the sentiment were created with a C.C. Designs die, which I added streaks of brown Copic marker to make the wood more life like.  The sentiment was computer generated.  All of the paper edges except for the wood elements were distressed with the Prima Comfort Distress Tool.

Card Recipe
Distress inks - Broken China, Peacock Feathers
Prismacolor pencils - 1031 Henna, 947 Dark Umber, 949 Silver, 935 Black, 938 White
Copics - E39, G29, RV32, RV34, R02, E30, E31, E34, E35, E37, E39, E41, E43, T3, T8
